It's been a rough first two weeks of the season for the Kansas City Chiefs. After big losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills, they're going to look to right the ship in Week 3 against a team that has had problems of their own, the New Orleans Saints. Both teams have talent but are 0-2 on the season, which makes the Week 3 meeting between the two teams a make-or-break game.
New Orleans has done well on the attacking side of the ball, putting up 59 points in their first two games. Defensive problems have plagued both teams in the first two weeks -- each allowing a combined 75 points scored on them in the first two games of the season.
Kansas City is probably at a disadvantage considering the matchup between the two weak defenses, as their offense has been less than stellar. The fact that they had 17 points against Buffalo was due more to the fact that the Bills were playing backups at the end of the game than the fact that they were putting together good drives. If they want to get the ship righted though, their schedule does not get any easier following their trip to New Orleans with games against the Chargers and Ravens immediately following.
