For the fourth week in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs opened the week as underdogs. The Chiefs were underdogs in week 1, 2 and 3. Now preparing to play their second home of the year, the Chiefs opened as a 3-point underdog against the San Diego Chargers, per Odds Shark.
Since then, however, the line has seen significant movement. According to SB Nation's NFL odds, the Chiefs currently stand anywhere between one-point underdogs to one-point favorites. If the line remains where it is, week 4 would be the first time this season the Chiefs would be favored to win a game.
The total points scored for the divisional matchup between the Chargers and Chiefs opened at 46 points. Similar to the spread, the total points scored over/under has moved down at least one full point.
The Chiefs' offense has held steady so far this season and the team is averaging more than 22 points per game. It also looks like running back Jamaal Charles is back to his old form. On the other end, the Chargers' offense averaged 30 points after the first two games before scoring just three points last week at home.
