There is still no official word on the statuses of Brandon Flowers and Derrick Johnson for this weekend's game against the Falcons, but things are looking up. At least one observer thinks that the two will play.
After seeing bit of last Chiefs practice of week, I'll stand by my prediction that Flowers and Johnson will play vs Falcons

Flowers is dealing with a left-heel injury and just returned to practice after missing the entire preseason. The cornerback has reportedly looked better in practice of late, and with back-up Jalil Brown having also been limited in practice lately, getting Flowers out there on Sunday would be a big boost to the Chiefs.
Johnson has an ankle injury that has his status in doubt, but after not practicing on Monday, he's worked his way back to limited practice and things are looking good.
