Falcons Vs. Chiefs Final Score: Atlanta Routs Kansas City, Wins 40-24

Matt Ryan scored four total touchdowns as the Falcons thwarted the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-24. Ryan threw three TD pases, two of which went to Atlanta wideout Julio Jones. Jones led receivers on the day with six receptions for 108 yards and those two scores.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez passed Torry Holt for No. 10 on the all-time receiving yards list, becoming the first non-wideout in the top 10. The former Chief ended the day with five receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel struggled in the second half Sunday. Initially, Cassel shined, starting the day completing ten of his first twelve passes with a touchdown. However, two second-half interceptions took away any chance of the Chiefs being able to keep up with the high-rolling Atlanta offense.
