According to Bob Dutton, the Oakland Athletics have claimed Humber off waivers from the Royals. Humber will be the second 2009 Royals team member playing for the A's, joining former Royal David DeJesus. DeJesus had been traded November 10 to Oakland for pitchers Vin Mazzaro and Justin Marks.
