It's only a matter of time before the fans of the Kansas City Royals and diehard baseball followers aren't the only ones singing the praises of the team. The farm system has been long celebrated by minor league analysts and publications like Baseball America, but now major mainstream media outlets are taking notice. For example, USA Today recently published a feature detailing the Royals' young prospects and how impressive the team could be in the near future.

Paul White writes, "The Royals have 24 games to make up on the first-place Detroit Tigers, so this remains very much a work in progress. But the progress came more quickly than expected in the eyes of Royals management, even in a season that began with an inordinate amount of attention on a heralded collection of minor league talent."

The article is worth checking out since it does a decent job of covering KC's top prospects and giving several positions their due. Not everything is accurate or perfect, but it's nice to see the Royals cast in a positive light on such a grand scale.
