The Major League Baseball playoffs could be changing soon.
The Associated Press is running a story indicating that in 2012 it's very possible we'll see the MLB playoffs expanded from eight to 10 teams.
"I would say we're moving to expanding the playoffs, but there's a myriad of details to work out," MLB Commissioner Bud Selig said Thursday at his annual meeting with the Associated Press Sports Editors. "Ten is a fair number."
Selif said that scheduling is a big discussion issue right now. They would be creating a wild card round and the two winners would go on to play the division winners.
