Zack Greinke Open To Extension With Milwaukee Brewers

Former Kansas City Royals ace Zack Greinke has apparently found a new home he can appreciate with the Milwaukee Brewers. As a former Cy Young winner, he knows the feeling of personal accolades, but apparently he's also found a place he can win. Even after losing Prince Fielder to the Detroit Tigers, the Brewers pitcher must feel the team can still win the NL Central since he's willing to put down roots there.

Adam McCalvy writes, "Asked about a possible extension, Greinke said, "I’ll talk to them about it. I don’t really want to talk to anyone else about it. But I like the business of baseball. It’s exciting for me. It’s not like I plan on being my agent, but it is exciting being able to know what’s going on behind the scenes."

Greinke went 16-6 last season for the Brewers with a 3.83 ERA.
