After splitting six road games to start the season, the Royals finally will have their home opener when they begin a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians on Friday (4:10 p.m. ET on FSKC).
The Royals (3-3) took two of three games in Los Angeles against the Angels but lost two of three in Oakland against the Athletics. With a month of spring training followed by a West Coast road trip, the Royals are excited to finally play at home in Kauffman Stadium. Friday's game against Cleveland (1-4) will begin a 10-game homestand for Kansas City.
Starting pitcher Luke Hochevar gave up just two runs in 6 1/3 innings against the Angels in his debut and will look for another solid performance. Outfielder Lorenzo Cain was placed on the DL on Thursday, and outfielder Jarrod Dyson was called up in his place.
Here's the game's basic broadcast infomation:
Location: Kauffman Stadium
Game Time: 4:10 p.m. ET
Pitchers: Luke Hochevar (KC) vs. Derek Lowe (CLE)
TV Channel: FSKC
Radio: KCSP 610
