The Kansas City Royals are hoping to break a six-game home losing streak as part of a ten game homestand when they welcome in the equally young Toronto Blue Jays Friday night. Luke Hochevar will get the start for Kansas City, returning to action after being struck by a line drive on his ankle on Opening Day. Hochevar was also drilled for seven runs in the first inning against Cleveland, and made it only four innings.
Designated hitter Billy Butler has been red hot for the Royals, batting .375 with two homers and six multi-hit outings in his last eight games.
