The Kansas City Royals still haven't found what they're looking for: a home win. Not only have the Royals dropped eight in a row, but they've lost all seven home games so far on the young season.
On Saturday night, the Royals will look to notch their first home win and end their eight game losing streak against the Toronto Blue Jays. Luis Mendoza will start for the Royals, as he looks for his first win of the year. Mendoza is 0-2 so far on the season, with a 2.28 WHIP. Mendoza has walked eight batters and struck out only three in 9.2 innings of work on the year.
Drew Hutchison will make his major league debut for the Blue Jays. Hutchison has made three starts in AA this year, going 2-1 with a 2.16 ERA in 16.2 innings.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. CT. Televised coverage can be found on Fox Sports Kansas City. Radio coverage can be found KCSP 610.
