The Kansas City Royals surprised the baseball world by taking two of three games in their season-opening series with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and will now attempt to win another series against an AL West opponent located in California.
The lineup for their matchup with the Oakland Athletics on Monday night was just announced. Here's how it looks:

4. Billy Butler, designated hitter, R
5. Jeff Francoeur, right field, R

9. Chris Getz, second base, L
Luis Mendoza will make his inaugural start for Kansas City this season, and he'll square off against left hander Tom Milone.
The first pitch is set for 10:05 p.m. EST.
