The Kansas City Royals are forced to adjust once again to another player injury in a season already riddled with such maneuvers. This time it's middle infielder Chris Getz who was placed today on the Disabled List.

The Royals have Alcides Escobar and Johnny Giavotella up the middle and Irving Falu can back up both positions. Getz is hitting .277 on the season thus far with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Where his impact might be felt even more is in the field where Getz only has one error at second base.
