Royals Vs. Orioles Final Score: Kansas City Edges Baltimore 4-3

After a slow start the Kansas City Royals came back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat the A.L. East-leading Baltimore Orioles 4-3. Royals Starting pitcher Felipe Paulino was the cause to Orioles getting out to the early lead as he gave up all three runs in his five innings of work. Two of the three runs came on solo home runs by Chris Davis and J.J. Hardy.

The Royals comeback came at a methodical pace as they scored one run between the fifth and eighth innings to get the win. During the comeback designated hitter Billy Butler hit a solo home run, and the eventual game winning run came in the eighth inning on an Eric Hosmer single which scored Mike Moustakas.

The win for the Royals ended their three-game losing streak.
