The Kansas City Royals played one of their best series all year when they took two of three games against the first place Baltimore Orioles this past weekend. They will get another shot a first place team on Monday when they take on the Cleveland Indians.
Nate Adcock will be making his second start of the season for Kansas City when he takes the hill in Cleveland. He has made five appearances for the Royals this season and has given up one run each time.
Opposing him will be Josh Tomlin, who is making his first start since being placed on the disabled list on May 8 with right wrist soreness. He started against the Royals on April 26 and took the loss after allowing four runs in four-and-two-thirds innings.
