Kansas City can get a much needed series win with a victory over the New York Yankees on Sunday against Kauffman Stadium. Sunday's matchup features two struggling pitchers in the Royals' Luke Hochevar and the Yankees' Phil Hughes.
Hochevar will try to bounce back after allowing nine earned runs in just four innings of work against Detroit. Hughes has struggled as well dropping to 1-4 after allowing four earned runs in 5.2 innings earlier this week against Baltimore.
