Boston Red Sox Vs. Kansas City Royals: Wednesday Starting Lineups

Billy Butler powered the Kansas Royals to a 6-4 win on Tuesday night, and the Royals hope Butler and KC's offense have more where that came from against Jon Lester and the Red Sox on Wednesday night, as the Royals look to win the rubber game of the three-game series.

Both Ned Yost and Bobby Valentine have announced starting lineups for Wednesday's game.

Boston Red Sox:

Mike Aviles, SS
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
David Ortiz, DH
Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
Will Middlebrooks, 3B
Cody Ross, LF
Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
Marlon Byrd, CF
Ryan Sweeney, RF

Jon Lester, SP

Kansas City Royals:

Jarrod Dyson, CF
Alex Gordon, LF
Billy Butler, 1B
Jeff Francoeur, RF
Johnny Giavotella, DH
Brayan Pena, C
Irving Falu, 3B
Chris Getz, 2B
Alcides Escobar, SS

Bruce Chen, SP

As you may have noticed, Ned Yost has benched both Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas against the southpaw Jon Lester. Johnny Giavotella, who was recalled from AAA earlier on Wednesday, gets the nod at DH.
