Kansas City Royals pitcher, Bruce Chen, registered his first victory of the season tonight against the Boston Red Sox as KC took the series from Boston with a final score of 3-2.
Chen had been 0-4 in his last four starts and getting that first win under his belt has to help his confidence going forward.
For Kansas City, Chris Getz and Irving Falu registered two hits each in the ball game and Brayan Pena knocked in two of KC's runs tonight to help secure the victory.
On the Red Sox side of things, a three RBI ball game by Adrian Gonzalez went to waste as he was the only player for Boston who was able to generate any runs.
