With each passing day, and each newly drafted Royals prospect being signed (fourth-round pick Kenny Diekroeger being the latest), the rosters are being put together for the short season Idaho Falls Chukars and Burlington Royals.
Idaho Falls' pitching staff will feature Bryan Brickhouse from last year's draft, along with a handful of selections from the 2012 draft class, including second round pick left-handed pitcher Sam Selman of Vanderbilt.
Paker Morin, taken in the 14th round from Utah will be one of the catchers, while the infield will feature 16-year old Adalberto Mondesi. Mondesi is the son of former big leaguer Raul Mondesi.
30th round selection Ethan Chapman joins an outfield that features another highly coveted international free agent prospect in 17-year old Eliar Hernandez. Already 6'3" and 200 lbs, Hernandez is highly thought of in Kansas City plans going forward.

Looking over the Burlington roster, they feature a pair of pitchers the Royals took in the first nine rounds in the most recent draft, including third rounder Colin Rodgers, who opted to forgo a scholarship to Auburn to sign with Kansas City.
24th round pick Beau Maggi, a catcher from Arizona State joins one of last year's second rounder Cameron Gallagher behind the plate.
The infield is compiled mostly of draft picks, but also has 18-year old Humberto Arteaga.
Seventh round selection Fred Ford from Missouri's Jefferson Junior College joins an outfield that will be lead by 2011's fifth overall pick in Bubba Starling.
