The Kansas City Royals have been waiting some time to see their investment from the 2011 MLB Draft first round on the actual diamond, but apparently Bubba Starling has been having a hard time even staying healthy to do so. After signing too late in the summer to really get started last year due to holding out for a bigger contract (and even flirting with potentially playing football for the University of Nebraska), Starling is now having hamstring issues.

↵Starling is now playing with the Burlington Royals and the team was very excited to have him in house.
↵"We're excited," said Burlington Royals General Manager Ben Abzug, "We knew for a while that it was going to be a possibility that we could get him. We got some indication from the Royals that this would be a likely next step for him."
↵Here's hoping Staring's injury is minor and that the Royals can get a good look at the future.
