The Kansas City Royals look for their fourth straight victory, sixth of their last seven, Saturday, as they host the Oakland Athletics in Game 2 of a three-game series at Kauffman Stadium. Starting at 2:10 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Kansas City, the Royals' Luke Hochevar (3-5, 6.19 ERA) will oppose the A's Brandon McCarthy (3-3, 2.95).
Hochevar is looking to bounce-back from his previous start that lasted just 4 1/3 innings but featured just one run against the Baltimore Orioles. Meanwhile, McCarthy is coming off the disable list to make his first start since May 17.
The match-up comes a night after the Royals (22-28) used four pitchers to shutout the Athletics 2-0 in Game 1.
