Three Kansas City Royals prospects -- OF Will Myers, RHP Jake Odirizzi and RHP Yordano Ventura -- have been named to the prestigious Futures Game, an annual event which pits the best prospects from the US against the best from the rest of the world.

The 21-year old Myers is appearing in the event for the second consecutive season. The 6'3 205 OF, who was promoted from Northwest Arkansas (AA) to Omaha (AAA) in the middle of May, has hit .336 with 24 HR's and 62 RBI's in both levels this season.

The 22-year old Odirizzi was promoted at nearly the same time as Myers; he has compiled an 8-2 record with a 2.89 ERA in 13 games this year.

Ventura, a 21-year old Dominican, will be competing for the World Team. The 5'11 pitcher has a 3-5 record with a 3.10 ERA in Wilmington (High-A) this year.
