The Kansas City Royals look to bounce back from Saturday's 9-3 loss at the hands of Oakland with a series clinching win on Sunday. The win by the A's snapped a nine-game losing streak.
The Royals will send former Oakland starter Vin Mazzaro (1-0, 4.50 ERA) to the mound against his former club for the first-time in his career. Mazzaro will be making his third appearance of the 2012 season after earning a win in his first start against Texas.
Tommy Milone (6-4, 3.64 ERA) will take the mound for Oakland. He won his previous start against the Royals this season while throwing eight shutout innings in a 1-0 win back in April.
