The American League and National League both released their rosters for the 2012 MLB All-Star Game a few days ago, but there's one spot still remaining on both teams. The Firestone Final Vote is a contest with five players apiece vying for the honor of playing in the mid-summer classic. Thus far, it looks like the Texas Rangers will add yet another player to the team in starter Yu Darvish while Braves legend Chipper Jones will put another feather in his cap.
#FinalVote 1st round standings - AL: 1. Darvish 2. Peavy 3. Hammel 4. Frieri 5. Broxton. NL: 1. Chipper 2. Freese 3. Bryce 4. Hill 5. Bourn

There's still time to vote, but the first round doesn't look good for Jonathan Broxton of the Royals, who is currently last in the AL standings. Even though KC serves as the home team, it's not winning the Royals players any additional votes and it's likely that Billy Butler will be the sole representative for the home team.
