Royals Vs. Blue Jays: Hosmer's 3 RBIs Salvage Split In 9-6 Win

Eric Hosmer went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a run scored as the Royals earned 9-6 win and a series split with the Blue Jays in Toronto.

The first three hitters in the Royals lineup — Alex Gordon, Alcides Escobar and Hosmer — each went 2-for-5 with a run scored and at least one RBI. Luke Hochevar gave up two earned runs over five innings in the start and picked up the win.The Royals used six relievers for the final four innings, including Jonathan Broxton picking up his 21st save of the season.

Kansas City opened the scoring with a five-run third and never trailed. They added three in the eighth and a solo homer from Yuniesky Betancourt in the ninth.
