2012 MLB All-Star Game: National League Starters Anchored By Carlos Beltran

The National League looks even younger than the American League in an All-Star Game featuring 26 total rookies to the show. This year at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, there is truly going to be a youthful look to the entire week, not just the Futures Game.

As for Carlos Beltran, he's the senior starter for the National League for the 2012 MLB All-Star Game given that this is his 7th career appearance. As for the rest? It's not even close. Matt Holliday and David Wright are making their sixth appearances, but they are reserves. Among the fan-voted starters, the next closest is three with Joey Votto, Rafael Furcal, Dan Uggla and Pablo Sandoval all tied.

National League Starers (No. of AS appearances)
C Buster Posey San Francisco 1
1B Joey Votto Cincinnati 3
2B Dan Uggla Atlanta 3
3B Pablo Sandoval San Francisco 3
SS Rafael Furcal St. Louis 3

OF Carlos Beltran St. Louis 7
