Royals Vs. Rangers Preview: Royals Look To Rebound After Winning Streak Snapped

The Kansas City Royals had their three-game winning streak snapped on Friday night in the first of their three-game weekend series with the Texas Rangers at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals will be looking to rebound from that loss on Saturday.

Will Smith will get the start on the mound for the Royals. In his last 13 innings of work, Smith has allowed just four runs and has struck out at least four batters in each start. Smith this season has a record of 2-3 with an ERA of 5.94.

Third baseman Mike Moustakas is expected to be back in the lineup for Kansas City after missing Friday's game with a banged-up right knee. He injured the knee against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday.
