Billy Butler went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a double as the Royals rebounded with a win over the White Sox in Chicago on Tuesday night.
Bruce Chen allowed two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings in the start and picked up the win. Greg Holland pitched a perfect ninth for the save.
The White Sox got on the board in the first inning, and there wasn't any scoring until the sixth, when the teams traded runs. Two KC runs in the seventh gave the Royals the lead, and Butler's blast in the eighth helped extend the lead to 5-2. Butler, Alex Gordon and Tony Abreu each went 2-for-4.
