Lorenzo Cain has missed lots of time in 2012 for the Kansas City Royals with a variety of injuries, 78 games in total. That total may be added on to thanks to a hamstring strain that Cain suffered on Thursday night in extra innings against the Minnesota Twins.
Before the game, Cain predicted the future while talking about the injuries that he had suffered earlier in the season, including a beanball that hit him in the head on Tuesday:
"Injuries or stuff just seem to find me this year," he remarked.
The injury to his hamstring isn't expected to be that serious. He will be re-evaluated on Friday in Kansas City to make sure it's nothing bad.
