Indians Vs. Royals Game Preview: Kansas City Looks To Continue Momentum

The Kansas City Royals host the Cleveland Indians at Kaufman Stadium Saturday, looking for their second win in a row against the Indians, and their fourth win in a row overall. The Royals defeated the Indians 6-3 Friday night. Will Smith will take the mound for the Royals, facing Ubaldo Jimenez for the Indians.

Smith is 5-8 on the season, having lost 4 of his last 5 decisions. Smith currently stands with a 5.08 ERA. Jimenez is 9-16 entering Saturday's game with a 5.43 ERA.

The Indians are in the midst of a major slide, having lost 40 of the last 52 games including 3 of their last 4. Jimenez's last win came September 16th vs. Detroit, having lost his previous 6 decisions up to that point.
