Royals vs. Indians: Game time, TV schedule and more

The Kansas City Royals send their top pitching prospect to the mound as they look to rebound from Friday's loss to the Cleveland Indians.

Jake Odorizzi makes his second career start Saturday night against the same Indians he faced in his first career start. Ordorizzi made his MLB debut last Sunday in Kansas City, lasting 5 1/3 innings and allowing three runs on six hits. Ordorizzi got off to a great start in his first game against the Indians, allowing just two hits in his first five innings before getting tagged for three runs on four hits in the sixth, including a two-run home run to Carlos Santana.

The Indians will send Jeanmar Gomez to the mound. Gomez takes Ubaldo Jimenez's position in the after Cleveland shut Jimenez down with a sprained right ankle.

First pitch from Progressive Field is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CT. The game can heard on KCSP 610.
