With three straight losses, the Kansas Jayhawks are 24.5-point underdogs against No. 7 Kansas State on Saturday, but Charlie Weis went to Twitter to complain about the lack of support from Kansas's student newspaper:
Team slammed by our own school newspaper. Amazing! No problem with opponents paper or local media. You deserve what you get! But, not home!

The presumable offense was an illustration on the cover of The University Daily Kansas that featured a very large and muscular Wildcat holding a goal post that had a small, helmet-wearing Jayhawk clinging on. Next to the illustration was the headline, "Road Kill Ahead" with the sub-headline that reads "Weekend holds a bad beating for Kansas or calamity for K-State."
In their last game, the Jayhawks lost to Northern Illinois 30-23 while the K-State Wildcats improved to 4-0 with a 24-19 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners.
