NCAA football rankings, Week 7: Kansas State moves up 3 spots to No. 5

The polls were thrown into chaos after a number of upsets inside the top 10. Kansas State was a beneficiary, moving up three spots to No. 5 in the latest Coaches Poll.

Unlike the AP Poll, the Kansas State Wildcats were not jumped by anyone in the latest Week 7 Coaches Poll. The Wildcats took care of business against their rival Kansas on Saturday, while the rest of the top 10 was thrown into chaos. K-State moved up three spots in the latest Coaches Poll thanks to losses by LSU, FSU, and Georgia. West Virginia's upset win over Texas kept the Mountaineers ahead of Bill Snyder's team, but those two will meet in two weeks in Morgantown in what will likely be a showdown for Big 12 supremacy in the polls.

Oklahoma is the next representative of the Big 12, moving up to No. 10 in advance of this week's Red River Rivalry game. The complete Week 7 poll below.
