While the Kansas Jayhawks lost their ninth straight against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, it was yet another close game for the last place team in the Big 12. Texas Tech needed two overtimes to beat the Jayhawks in the third game of KU's last five that was decided by just one score.
They'll look to finally turn that into a win against the Iowa State Cyclones, who are six-point favorites against Kansas following back-to-back losses. Their most recent loss was a 33-7 defeat at the hands of the Texas Longhorns, a team that has struggled to prevent teams from scoring for most of the season.
Kansas fared much better against the Longhorns in late October, as Texas needed a touchdown pass from Case McCoy in the final minute of the game to earn a 21-17 victory. Saturday's game in Lawrence, Kan. is scheduled to kickoff at 6 p.m. CT.
