Kansas vs. Baylor odds: Bears heavy favorites in battle of the Big 12's winless

Vegas has little hope that the Jayhawks will top the Bears to snap their 17-game conference losing streak.

Kansas visits Baylor on Saturday as heavy underdogs with both teams still searching for their first conference win of 2012. According to Oddshark.com, the Bears are 17-point favorites at Floyd Casey Stadium, where Kansas has not won since the formation of the Big 12 in 1996.

This game will be a battle of ineptitude, as the Jayhawks putrid offense tries to find the end zone against the Bears' terrible defense. Kansas has not scored more than 17 points in any of their five Big 12 gams this season, while Baylor is giving up an average of 42 points per game in conference play.

Things look much worse on the Kansas side of things, though. They have lost seven straight games after winning their season opener and are now winless in their last 17 conference games. Baylor is hardly jumping for joy at 3-4 overall and 0-4 in the Big 12 in the post-Robert Griffin III era, but compared to Kansas, it looks dandy.

The bookmakers do have some confidence in the Jayhawks. Obviously there isn't much hope in Vegas that Kansas will actually win, but there is an expectation that they will get their offense going because the over/under is set at 71.

The Jayhawks and Bears kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon. The game will be televised nationally on FSN.
