Turner Gill Says Kansas Needs 28 Points Against Kansas State

Kansas head coach Turner Gill talked with reporters this week about Thursday night's game against Kansas State.

The Wildcats are favored to win the game but KU is at home and can play well there (ask Georgia Tech).

Gill said that the Jayhawks will need 28 points from their offense in this game including one turnover or less.

They've scored 28 or more points just twice this season (both victories). Turnovers haven't been a major issue from the quarterback. Jordan Webb has three interceptions including two last week.

Scoring 28 points is an excellent goal against Kansas State. As I've said, in the right situation this KU defense isn't too bad. They can hold Kansas State considering they're nearing one dimensional.
