College Football Picks: Kansas May Not Get First Big 12 Win Over Colorado

The Kansas Jayhawks host the Colorado Buffaloes in Lawrence, Kansas on Saturday and various college football picks say it'll be the Buffs who win this one. Kansas has lost four in a row (by a wide margin), they don't know who their quarterback will be and anything that could go wrong for the Jayhawks has this season. They're winless in the Big 12, as is Colorado, so someone is getting their first Big 12 victory.

If you're to believe the prediction from David Ubben of ESPN.com, it'll be Colorado.

Colorado 27, Kansas 20: This one is by far my least confident pick. That comes with picking Colorado to win on the road, where its suffered 26-, 33- and 42-point losses this year. But here goes. Rodney Stewart has a big day, and Cody Hawkins hits Scotty McKnight enough times to halt the Buffaloes 15-game road losing streak.

It's hard for me to disagree with this. I'm not sure I could pick Kansas over anyone right now. I know they have the talent to compete with Colorado -- the Georgia Tech game showed us they could beat them, too -- but they just haven't been doing it lately.

I don't think you can pick Kansas in this game after what we've seen over the last month.
