Kansas Jayhawks freshman Josh Selby will be making his first start on Wednesday against UT Arlington, head coach Bill Self said on Tuesday. Selby's season was delayed this season when he was suspended for nine games for an NCAA violation. He made his arrival into the lineup last week.
↵In game one against USC, he had 21 points and hit the game winning three pointer with 26 second remaining in the game. In game two he had 18 points in a win over Cal. Selby's been terrific in his start but Self has cautiously tempered some of the expectations. Self has consistently said Selby will be one of five players on the court.
↵On Wednesday against UT Arlington, he'll be one of five starters. Selby's first start will come on Wednesday and we'll have to see if he gives that spot up the rest of the year.
↵The game will be played at Allen Fieldhouse so you can expect KU basketball fans to be in there and in their seat early.
