The Kansas Jayhawks topped the Michigan Wolverines 67-60 in overtime on Sunday. It wasn't KU's best game but they still got the win. Owen Kemp of SB Nation's Rock Chalk Talk has taken a look at his winners and losers from Sunday's game.
Winner in this one: Tough to say. The Morri played well, Tyshawn had moments, but no one on Kansas can really walk away feeling like this was a particularly good game.
Right. It's not like KU imploded but no one really took control of the game. Kansas should have rolled in this game but they allowed Michigan to come back on them late in the game.
Losers: Any possible serious injury to Travis Releford and all that positive momentum that Kansas had gained and would have liked to carry into conference play.
Releford's injury isn't expected to be serious. Bill Self said after the game he was optimistic. Releford injured it late in the first half. So if it was serious, I imagine Self would have known by then. He said specifically it was not a high ankle sprain which was one of the concerns.
