We've already seen the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' polls for this week and the Kansas Jayhawks barely miss out on the top spot. With the Duke Blue Devils losing, it was Ohio State who moved into the top spot in the AP top 25 and Kansas followed them -- just like the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' poll.
Kansas continues to stay perfect on the season at 17-0 though their last three games have been closer than they want. They'll be tested as part of ESPN's Big Monday schedule when they take on the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas this evening.
Syracuse, Duke and Pittsburgh round out the top five.
The Missouri Tigers two weeks ago were No. 9, and then a loss to Colorado pushed them to No. 15 last week and now a victory over Nebraska and an overtime loss to Texas A&M has moved them up against to No. 13. Voters still respect Mizzou even after losing this week because Texas A&M is the 11th ranked team in the country directly behind Texas. Mizzou hosts Kansas State Monday afternoon.
The Kansas State Wildcats are nowhere to be found on the AP top 25. They've lost two of their last three games before they put the beat down on Texas Tech last Saturday. K-State is now 13-5 on the season. They were ranked No. 21 last week.
