Kansas Jayhawks' Thomas Robinson Has NBA Lottery Written All Over Him

By coming back to work on his game and continue to grow at an elite college level school, Thomas Robinson could find himself a lottery choice at the next NBA Draft.

Draft Express has their eye on Thomas Robinson when it comes to NBA prospects coming out of the Big 12 this year, and it's clear that they won't be the only ones saying so throughout what should be Robinson's breakout year. While he's always been an impressive piece for Bill Self's Kansas Jayhawks, he's now completely out of the shadow of the Morris twins and should take over a team that needs a new MVP and identity overall.

Jonathan Givony at Draft Express loves several facets of Robinson's game, especially his defensive potential at the pro level and believes he already would have been a Top 20 pick last season coming out of college. However by coming back to work on his game and continue to grow at an elite college level school, Robinson could be picked much higher.

"While at times it can be difficult to project the trajectory of underclassmen who are about to undergo major role changes at big-school teams such as Kansas, Robinson's case seems pretty clear cut. He almost certainly would have been a top-20 pick had he entered the draft last year, and everything about his profile suggests he's primed for a huge year that will elevate his stock comfortably into the lottery of a much more stacked class. If he can find a way to lead Kansas deep into the tournament, he could be picked much higher than that even."
