After starting the season with two victories over FCS foe McNeese State and Mid-America Conference member Northern Illinois, Turner Gill and his Kansas Jayhawks have had to lick their wounds in back-to-back defeats against the rushing juggernauts of Georgia Tech and passing aficionados of Texas Tech. Now at 2-2, Kansas will take the journey down I-35 South to face the third ranked offense in the country in the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Cowboys boast a No. 6 ranking in the polls, an offense running on all cylinders, and a defense that has found themselves to be opportunistic in recent weeks. The Jayhawks have given up 44.3 points/game this season
