Kansas Vs. Kentucky Score: Jayhawks, Wildcats Tied 28-28 At Halftime

Neither Kansas nor Kentucky were able to gain an early advantage as they enter halftime with the score tied 28-28. The game has featured runs by both sides that have been fueled by a combined 22 turnovers between the two teams.

The Jayhawks jumped out to a 21-14 lead thanks to the strong inside play of Jeff Withey and Thomas Robinson who combined to score 12 points in the first half. The Wildcats came storming back to tie the game finishing the half on a 14-7 run.

Thomas Robinson leads Kansas with seven points and five rebounds. Conner Teahan came off the bench to hit a couple of three point buckets and has six points at the half. Jeff Withey has five points and three blocks in the game. The Jayhawks have dug in defensively forcing Kentucky to settle for jump shots in the halfcourt set. Where they have struggled is off of turnovers where the Wildcats have been able to get into their transition game.

Terrence Jones leads all scorers with nine points while freshman Anthony Davis chipped in eight points, two steals and two blocks in the first half. Doron Lamb and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist have five points each. John Calipari can't be happy with his point guard play as Marcus Teague turned the ball over six times in the first half accounting for half of Kentucky's first half turnovers.
