Kansas Vs. Duke: Tyshawn Taylor Revved Up For Chance To Face Blue Devils

From the head coach to its senior leaders, the Kansas Jayhawks sound good and ready for tonight’s game against the Duke Blue Devils, who come in No. 6 in the nation and stand at 6-0 already in the early season with impressive wins over Michigan and Tennessee on their resume. Of course, the Jayhawks are impressive in their own right with a No. 14 ranking and a tradition as strong as Duke. In other words, it’s a college basketball fan’s dream.

“This is one of the games when you come to Kansas, you sign up for,” said Tyshawn Taylor, who leads the Jayhawks in scoring. “This is one of those games we’ll probably always remember.”

“We’re excited about it,” said KU head coach Bill Self. “Be careful what you wish for … but that’s what we wanted. Our guys are going to compete. I will bet the atmosphere for (Wednesday) night’s game will be as good an atmosphere as this building’s seen for this tournament.”

The game tips off at 9pm CT tonight on ESPN.
