College Basketball Rankings, Week 4: Four Blue Bloods Later, Kansas Finally Gets A Reprieve

After facing four of the definitive blue bloods in college basketball, the Kansas Jayhawks get a bit of a break by hosting Florida Atlantic and South Florida this week.

The Kansas Jayhawks through five games have faced four of the definitely blue bloods in college basketball, as wins over Georgetown and UCLA and losses to Kentucky and Kansas will help any team figure out who they are early in the season. Sorry Towson, you aren't quite a blue blood yet.

So as the Jayhawks prepare to face some less stiff competition, beginning with Florida Atlantic (3-4) on Wednesday and South Florida on Saturday, it will be interesting to see how Thomas Robinson (whom Duke's head coach Mike Krzyzewski said was the best player they'll face all year) Tyshawn Taylor and Travis Releford learn how to impose their will on lesser teams.

Bill Self's got a scrappy bunch, let's see how this plays out for the entire season.

Here is the AP's Top 25 for week four:
