After neutral site tournament games and match-ups against national powers, Kansas (3-2) will return home to Lawrence for their first home game in 19 days Wednesday against Florida Atlantic (3-4). Returning to Allen Fieldhouse after neutral site losses to Top 10 teams Kentucky (74-65 in New York City) and Duke (68-61 at the Maui Invitational in Hawaii), the Jayhawks will play a four-game slate against the Owls, South Florida, Long Beach State and Ohio State before finals begin at KU.

Junior forward Thomas Robinson and senior guard Tyshawn Taylor have both averaged 16 points a game this season. Robinson has five double-doubles in five games so far this season, while Taylor is tied with junior guard Elijah Johnson with 19 assists.

Wednesday's game with FAU will be only the second time the two programs have met (KU won the first meeting in 2007 87-49). FAU's last game was a 68-55 loss to USF, the Jayhawks' next opponent.

Head coach Bill Self expressed relief at returning to campus after a star-studded early season slate of games: (quote courtesy of KUSports):

"It’ll be fun for our guys to get back home. There’s not too many teams in America that are high-majors that are playing their second home game on Nov. 30," KU coach Bill Self said. "From that standpoint, I know our guys will be more in a comfort state to get better."
