Kansas Vs. Iowa State Update: Jayhawks Lead Cyclones 7-3 After One Quarter

D.J. Beshears 22-yard touchdown run capped off a 9-play, 80-yard drive for the Jayhawks as KU leads Iowa State 7-3. Kansas has found success running the ball on the Cyclones, as 75 of KU's 101 total yards have come from rushing the ball.

For Iowa State, quarterback Jared Barnett has been a one-man show thus far in Ames, as he lead his Cyclones on a 12-play, 82-yard scoring drive leading to a Zach Guyer 32-yard field goal. The 4:29 drive initially gave ISU a 3-0 lead over KU. Barnett has 74 of the Cyclones 82 total yards in the first quarter thus far.

Kansas will have the ball on their own 25-yard line to start the second quarter in Jack Trice Stadium.
