The Kansas Jayhawks had their best chance at a single win in Big 12 Conference play come and go this weekend with the Iowa State Cyclones, who beat the Jayhawks 13-10 on Saturday in an uninspired offensive game on both sides. KU's defense finally showed up after being dogged all season, but KU couldn't put enough offense together to spring it open and they remain in last place in the Big 12. Unfortunately, one look ahead at their schedule and it doesn't get any easier.
A look ahead reveals Texas A&M, Baylor and Missouri, and each of those teams are likely viewing their dates with Kansas as a win to count on for teams vying for bowl games. Turner Gill, meanwhile, will likely be looking for another job after yet another miserable season in Lawrence. Here's the rest of the schedule for KU this year.
