Perry Ellis: Kansas Basketball Inks Elite 2012 Recruit

Bill Self is likely not finished with the class of 2012.

The Kansas Jayhawks signed Perry Ellis, one of the most decorated men's basketball players to ever come out of the state, on Wednesday, national signing day for the high school class of 2012.

Ellis, a 6'8 220 forward out of Wichita, is ranked No. 27 in the country by CBS Sports.

In highlight tapes, he shows a great skill-set and feel for the game for a player his size, and he is expected to swing between both forward positions for Bill Self. Kentucky and Kansas State also recruited him strongly.

The only other player expected to sign today is Zach Peters, a 6'9 forward out of Fort Worth, TX.

With a roster loaded with upperclassmen and only two four-star freshmen coming in this season, Self still has room to bring in additional players in the class of 2012, especially with Big 12 rivals Texas and Baylor reeling in top 10 classes of their own.
