The official word coming out of Ohio State is that Jared Sullinger is going to be a game-time decision for the Buckeyes, which is at least a glimmer of hope that the much anticipated showdown between Thomas Robinson and Sullinger as two of the nation’s best college basketball players would take place. That said, today’s battle of Kansas against Ohio State should still be a great game.
Sullinger has been questionable this entire week and Thad Matta said he wasn’t sure what would happen. Brandon Castel says an Ohio State assistant coach has given word of some good news. “According to Jeff Boals, Jared Sullinger is going to warm up before the game and see how he feels.” With back spasms, it’s always tough to tell until the moment of an event.
That makes it a possibility if Sullinger feels healthy enough that he will take the floor. That’s good news for OSU considering Sullinger averages 19 points and 10 rebounds per game.
